Nick Martin, boss of the bikie of Slain Rebels, had a special funeral service at Perth.

The slain biker Nick Martin, who was killed in a gang assassination less than deux weeks ago, was seen to be valued by hundreds of bikes in Perth.

At midday at the Pinnaroo Cemetery, Murners attended Martin's funeral, surrounded by a large police presence.

The last trip to North Perth on Wednesday morning started for the 51-year-old former bikie boss of Rebels with hearers and Harley Davidsons forming an Honorary Guard for the slain king of the world.

It was viewed as a royal procession, by some citizens along the streets of the cavalcade.

Highly armed officers rode with green lights on the entire procession route to guard the public.

There were nearly 200 police officers in force for the supervision of proceedings.

Mates, relatives and partners paid tribute at Pinnaroo Cemetery.

Incredibly, Verity James, well known ABC radio and television broadcaster who had been given several explosive tributes, was in charge of the funeral.

Hundred dollar bills filled Martin's coffin and a massive Confederate Rebels flag hanged in the distance.

His hearse read: "THE CON." He read.

At the end of this service, Rebels even made an entertaining version of the haka.

The man of "no bulls**t," Martin was remembered as the "larger than life"

He was described as a "good man, a caring person" in the praise given on behalf of Western Australia's chapter.

"The guy with a presence about him was Nick Martin. A natural leader who gained the admiration of the people," said his Rebel fellow.

"A man of honesty, loyalty, and particularly of good and wrong, he had strong principles.

"He's been tough but fair.

"You certainly didn't want to rub him in the wrong direction, being said.

"He had the gift that he could see people really as who they are."

The meeting was "one consistent" in his life, said another Rebels member and neighbor.

"We have seen each other at our worst and at our best through thick and thin court cases, battles, girlfriends, women, children, good and bad times," he said.

"I will miss you friend, but today you left me and others with a memory life.

"Nobody can take that thing away."

On the night of 12 December, Martin was shot publicly at the motor complex at Kwinana, facing families and children.

He was shot in his abdomen with a single cartridge, and investigators investigated the likelihood of a gunman shoting him.

Despite a millions of dollars of award from the WA government, his assassin has yet to be arrested.

The police refused to say whether they suspect that the attacker could be from the Eastern states, but detectives of Operation Ravello are checking COVID-19 travel permits, which are compulsory to all arrivals in between states.

The list of Martin's rivals and suspects is quite long, but Martin's funeral did not raise any difficulties.

Photographs, videos were shown and musical tributes given, as with any other funeral.

The funeral song, Bob Dylan's Storm, is a ballad about a man who has been miscarried.

There were also Eminem, and "Wish You Here" was Pink Floyd.

A tearful tribute was given to her husband by Martin's wife Amanda.

"I never thought I'd be without my Nick this day," she said.

"There's an unhealable void in my middle.

"My very good friend has gone and I'm split into a million bits.

The ceremony was streamed live and respect could still be given to the ones on the east coast held at the hard border of WA.

In several respects it also was a display of power to discourage us from assuming that the Rebels are a spent force without the leadership of Martin.

Police arrested for violating his state of speech after being wounded in the attack last week, Martin's son-in-law Ricky Chapman, former member of Bandidos.

Chapman, 31, was operated after injuring Martin with the same bullet.

The ballistic experts obtained a fragment of a new bullet retrieved from the arm and an analysis of the footage from the incident.

A five-year-old boy on Martin's wife's lap was grassed with a fragment of a bullet, but he did not need medical attention.

Now, after police searched the bush in Kwinana Beach, the site of the shooter was returned to its owners.

Detectives have also raided properties related to motorcycle outlawing groups, including clubs in Insurgents, Mongols and Hells Angels.
