In November, a man was arrested for the death of a Bronx father.

A man has been detained in connection with the deadly shooting of a Bronx father in November, authorities said Sunday.

Kadeem Edwards, 21, has been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the death of Jonathan Pea on Nov. 13.

Pea, 32, was fatally shot in Mount Eden on Macombs Road near Inwood Ave. after a trio of thieves backed the victim and his 46-year-old companion into a storefront and robbed Pea of his 18-karat gold chain.

Pea was hit in the chest, while his friend was shot in the buttocks.

Medics transported the elderly guy to Lincoln Hospital, where he was treated and released. Pea was rushed to BronxCare Health System on a private basis, but he was unable to be rescued.

Pea and his longterm partner Zayerelin Figueroa had two daughters.

Figueroa told the Daily News at the time, "He's a kind, devoted parent." "A self-sufficient individual. He was always willing to help us and would never do us harm."

Edwards was scheduled to be arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court late Sunday.

The other men involved in the incident are still being sought by police.
