Jake Taylor arrested, who interest Murder Mongols Bikie Shane Bowden

Person involved in suspected murder of Gold Coast bikes charged with firearms offenses

A person of interest in last month's murder of infamous Gold Coast bikie Shane Bowden was charged with supplying weapons.

Mr Bowden, related to both the Mongols and the Finks, was executed on the driveway of his girlfriend's Pimpama property when he arrived on October 12.

Police identified Jake Taylor, 25, as "loosely associated" with Mongol bikie gang members.

On the day of the murder, police say Mr Taylor took two chests of weapons to a 21-year-old man's address at Doolandella.

The 21-year-old was also charged with felonies.

Police state there's no connection between weapons and murder and he's not accused of being involved in the death of Mr Bowden.

Mr Taylor appealed in Brisbane Magistrates Court for bail but was refused.
