A man is charged with killing a Sunshine Coast woman in her beach house.

A man has been charged with killing a woman on Friday morning at Caloundra's Dicky Beach.

The police are going to say that he shot her in the head.

Bradley is 30 years old. Feebie McIntosh, a 25-year-old woman from Currimundi, was killed, and Ian Cotton, from Narangba, is accused of killing her. On Saturday morning, he went to court in Maroochydore, where he was charged with murder.

Police said on Saturday morning that he was put back in jail and will have to go back to court on July 29 to face one count of murder.

After a long search, detectives from the Sunshine Coast caught the man on Friday afternoon in nearby Sippy Downs and didn't let him go free on bail. Around 3.30pm, police stopped his car on Fitzwilliams Street.

David Drinnen, a detective inspector, said on Friday that the woman had been shot in the head.

He was charged with killing McIntosh the next day.

Earlier, police investigations will show that a woman was shot in the head around 9 a.m. on Friday at a house on Coolum Street in Dicky Beach after a fight.

A 58-year-old man she knew took her from the Dicky Beach house to the Caloundra Base Hospital. In the end, the woman died in the hospital.

The 58-year-old man who took her to the hospital is now helping the police with their investigation.

At the house, there is still a crime scene.

Police will say that the man and woman knew each other, but early investigations suggest that it was not a case of domestic violence.

Cotton and McIntosh were both at the Coolum Street address because they knew the woman who lived there.

Investigators have also talked to the homeowner.

People are saying nice things about the young woman, who was called "amazing and caring" in her local news.
