After being accused of uploading topless pictures of teenage daughters, Claudia Conway defends Kellyanne Conway
After having been accused of mistakenly sharing a topless picture of the teen on Twitter Monday, Claudia Conway is rallying to her mother's defense.

After discovering it on Claudia's phone, Kellyanne Conway, a former advisor to former President Donald Trump who lives in the Alpine Mountains, allegedly shared the picture of her 16-year-old daughter.

On Tuesday, Claudia, whose rocky relationship with her mother played out on TikTok, discussed the incident in videos on the social network, saying she assumed that her mother's Twitter account was compromised, and that she would take some time to focus on their relationship away from social media.

She asked her followers to "stop the authorities calling."

"Social media is a really dark place and hate and violence were incited instead of shining light on the scenario, and that was never my intention, nor my mom's," Claudia said in a TikTok video.

After allegedly learning of the photo after TikTok users listed it in comments on her videos, Claudia appeared distraught Monday night.

And one person asked, "You're not going to address your mom posting naked photos of you."

"What," answered Claudia.

"Yes, her mom published a picture of Claudia without a shirt on her Twitter story today," another said.

Claudia asked if people were kidding about a real picture or talking about it. She made a now-deleted video shortly afterwards, confirming the authenticity of a nude photo that had been circulating on Twitter after allegedly appearing via a Twitter "fleet," or a temporary tweet, on her mother's feed.

The photo was taken months ago, Claudia said. She clarified initially that her mother often takes possession of her phone. She thought that on one of those occasions, her mother possibly took a screenshot of the photo, then uploaded it by mistake... "or she was hacked by somebody."

"So Kellyanne," continued Claudia on Monday, "you're going to f——in jail."

The picture in question, which has 3.3 million followers, has since been deleted from Conway's account.

#JusticeforClaudiaConway became Monday night's top Twitter trend.

On Alpine Monday, as seen in another of Claudia's videos, a police officer appeared to react to the Conway house.

Kellyanne said the family had experiences with Child Protection Services in Washington, D.C. in a copy of a live video posted on YouTube that picked up a conversation between the police officer, Kellyanne and Claudia in their house. And DYFS, presently known as the Child Safety and Permanence Division, in New Jersey.

The New York Post reported that police responded Tuesday to their home as well.

The Atco native, Kellyanne, 54, shares the house with her family, including Claudia and her mother, George Conway, 57, the father of Claudia.

No further information was given by the Alpine Police, who told the Post that documents relating to minors were not made public.

Claudia has become a popular figure on TikTok, expressing in the run-up to the 2020 election her opposition to Trump. Though her Republican father is recognised for the anti-Trump political action committee Project Lincoln for his own opposition to Trump, regularly panning the man with whom his wife worked so closely for years, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Claudia has given more of an inside look at the administration.

In August, after Claudia made accusations of harassment, Kellyanne said she was leaving the White House to spend time with her family.

Just over a month later, the teen was praised for breaking news that her mother tested positive for COVID-19 as a trailblazer of sorts. Kellyanne attended a "superspreader event" at the September Rose Garden ceremony at the White House, where Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Both Trump and former Governor Chris Christie tested positive for the virus after the case, where masks were scarce (Christie had also spent several days helping Trump prepare for the presidential debate without wearing a mask).

Claudia said that after Trump tested positive, she heard her mother coughing. Claudia said she tested positive as well.

Later, after a video of the celebration was shared on social media, Claudia was mocked for holding a 16th birthday party during the pandemic at their Alpine home. She said more individuals, some uninvited, had turned up than originally expected. Kellyanne could be heard saying in one of Claudia's videos that she felt those opposing the party were "jealous" of Claudia.

Last week, after she posted a series of video clips and recordings in which Kellyanne seemed to be shouting and using profanity and slurs while talking to her daughter, people expressed concern about Claudia.

Kellyanne can be heard saying in one video, "You'll never record another f—-ing thing in your life." "This will be for forensic analysis."

Claudia has spoken in previous posts and videos about wanting to obtain emancipation from her parents and has discussed coming to her home with Child Protective Services. She also said she felt frightened and uncertain of what was going to happen next.

But on Tuesday, Claudia defended her mother against her 1.6 million TikTok followers in the wake of the alleged photo incident.

She said, "Hi guys, I just wanted to come here and deal with this situation." It is not coerced, it comes entirely from me, Claudia. I have confidence, because I know that my mother and I would never put such a thing on the internet, and we would never do that.

"We fight like mothers and daughters, my mother and I, but we love like mothers and daughters as well, and I love them," she said. "I'm going to take a break from social media because we're really tired of being headlines, and we're fighting like mothers and daughters, but being in the public eye makes that much worse and adds a lot of stress to both of our lives, and that's not what I want."

'I don't want any drama,' said Claudia. "I want no animosity whatsoever. So I'm going to quit social media and focus on my relationship with my mom and my family for a while.

The TikTok video was shared on Twitter by George Conway.

"He said, "Our daughter Claudia has asked me to tweet the comment for her.

Some authorities implored authorities to investigate the matter at Claudia's home as a censored version of what people purported to be the topless photo circulated on social media Monday. Claudia asked people, in more remarks, not to target Kellyanne.

"Please do not incite my family to hate or violence," she said. "No threats, please. No calls to officials. I love my mother, and she loves me as well.
