Stephen Rosa teacher at John Adams High School in Ozone Park lewd gesture
A teacher at a high school in New York City was arrested for making a lewd gesture at a student.
Teacher: A Queens high school teacher was arrested Thursday for making a rude gesture that implied oral sex with a 17 year old girl, police said.
Stephen Rosa, 35, is a teacher at John Adams High School in Ozone Park, New York. The NYPD says that on Wednesday, he allegedly put his fingers in a "v" shape in front of his mouth and stuck his tongue through them.
This is what cops say: Rosa was arrested on Thursday afternoon in the 106th Precinct station house.
"The school reported this deeply troubling allegation right away, and this person has been removed from the school while we take the necessary steps to get him or her fired right away," said a Department of Education spokeswoman. In this case, "The safety of our students is our top priority, and we are working with the police fully to help with the investigation."
