Who was Babbitt's Ashli?
Babbitt was a veteran of the Air Force with 14 years of service, during which she served four duty tours.
Throughout her time in office, she was a high-level safety official.
Robin Babbitt, her mother-in-law, told The New York Post, "I'm numb." I'm ravaged.
"Nobody from DC notified my son and we found out on TV."
She added: "She is a supporter of Trump."
How did the Capitol kill Ashli Babbitt?
During the mayhem inside the Capitol on January 6, 2021, Babbitt was shot in the face.
Video footage captured the sound of the gunshot and showed the woman from several perspectives crumbling to the floor.
Reportedly, she was shot by the Capitol Police.

Ashli Babbitt allegedly filmed herself minutes before the mayhem after President Donald Trump addressed his supporters on Capitol Hill.
Babbitt went live on Facebook and boasted, dressed in a Trump banner, that she was part of the crowd marching to the Capitol.
She reported that in Washington DC, there were over three million rioters marching alongside her.

Babbitt, who used the Twitter handle CommonAshSense, also retweeted a "MUST BE DONE LIST before Congress meets today." a few hours ahead of her and other Trump backers storming the Capitol.
Babbitt retweeted TV footage of a pro-Trump crowd massing in DC on January 5 ahead of the January 6 protests over the election outcome.
Had she been married?
She was married to Aaron's husband and lived close to San Diego.
KUSI TV confirmed that her husband said that she was a big supporter of President Trump and was a true patriot to those who knew her.

"A US veteran died, storming the Capitol Building based on a bunch of lies, and any one of us, if I had believed those lies that could have been me," said a neighbour referring to the fact Babbitt was a US Air Force veteran and had done tours of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Many people were surprised and also condemned the manner in which Trump supporters had conducted themselves.
