"At the Waukesha Holiday parade, a car plowed over pedestrians and fired shots out the window," Zach Heisler tweeted. "I am safe, as is my family. This occurred twenty feet in front of us."

"Right in front of my family, this dude drives through the procession, firing out the window and striking as many people as possible," a parade attendee tweeted. "He ran over several elderly women who were dancing in the parade, as well as numerous others. Please pray for Waukesha."

As the crowd began shouting in horror, the truck appears to run over at least one person. As people escape in all directions, hysteria ensues as the motorist races away.

The police department has indicated that they are preparing for a news conference at city hall.
