Before the game, he told The Associated Press, "I'm going to tell you something that's been going on in my life since I was a kid, even before I played basketball." "I've always tried to do different things. I'm not even talking about sports. I always try to be unique and do something that has never been done before, no matter what field I'm in. And this is how things really went in my life. I have no idea where it came from. I think it was in me from birth. I've always tried to be different. That's the word for it: unique."
