Women Are Assasinated Outside Hotel At the International Airport of San Francisco.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a woman was shot outside a hotel near the San Francisco International Airport on Monday evening.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots at approximately 8 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Hotel at SFO, located at 55 S McDonnell Road, and discovered a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to police, the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to investigators, there was no active shooter and the shooting happened "near the roadway, not inside an airport building."
There have been unconfirmed rumors that the incident may have been a carjacking attempt, but the investigation is continuing. There have been no arrests and there is currently no detail about a suspect.
SFO announced via Twitter that airlines have been granted permission to deplane after 10 p.m.
“I've never had any doubts about SFO's safety. I mean, seeing the video and the fact that someone was injured is a fact, but from personal experience, I've been in and out of here a couple dozen times,” said Oakland passenger Dane Huling.
“I don't believe there is a lot of abuse around the airport directly, but things happen at random,” San Francisco resident Daunte Watts said.
