Randy Rainbow on Marjorie Taylor Greene Is Latest To Dunk
On Wednesday, Randy Rainbow published a new parody song targeting controversial GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
No political event or person is really of the moment until one of his musical theater tributes about them is posted by Rainbow. Greene has won a remake of "Evergreen," by Barbra Streisand.
Since getting elected last November, Greene has had a very busy few weeks: her tweets were constantly flagged for disinformation by Twitter and she was temporarily suspended.
Old videos and social media posts from her pre-Congress days continue to surface, showing her support of the theory of the Qanon conspiracy as well as demands to kill Democratic lawmakers, the unfounded assertion that the shooting of the Parkland school was a "false flag," and the suggestion that somehow a recent wildfire began with a laser from space.
Democratic Rep. Cori Bush, citing online spats and a maskless, in-person experience, moved her office away from Greene's last week. Today, House Democrats are working to oust her from her committees, and for her "loony lies and conspiracy theories," Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell himself publicly chided her.
Equally harsh was Rainbow's take on the freshman delegate.
"He sang, referring to various conspiracy theories, "Although these schmos happily write her checks, she blames Muslims and Satanic pizza sex.
One ever-present refrain in the song? What the f—? ”
