Protest in times square today, anti-vaxxers anti vaccine passport rally

In New York City, anti-vaxxers swarmed Times Square.

Hundreds of anti-vaxxers descended on Times Square on Saturday for a divisive demonstration.

A pole dancer performed during the gathering, as did an individual holding a sign linking the vaccination attempt to the Nazis' mass massacre of Jews.

“How did the Nazis accomplish this? According to social media photographs, one woman's sign stated, "They thought the Jews were ill."

According to the photographs, the woman was holding a swastika made of needles with the text "what happened to 'never again?'" in her other hand.

American flags and less obscene posters with messages such as "freedom over fear" and "wake up New York" were also on display at the Crossroads of the World, according to photographs.

Few people in the demonstration wore masks, as many urged the city's vaccine passport mandate be repealed.

The demonstration occurred as health officials reported that more than two-thirds of all New York City citizens had gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.
