Nadia Hilton, a former Central New York pastor, is back in porn as herself, declaring, 'I just want to be me.'
Once a Central New York preacher, Crystal DiGregorio is now doing porn under a new stage name on OnlyFans, a popular adult entertainment membership service. In spite of her continued ministry, she left New Beginnings Christian Life Church in Fulton, N.Y. because she was tired of dealing with judgmental members.
As far as religion goes, I'm no longer a part of anything. In the wake of the church's harsh criticism, I made the decision to take a step back. "Very judgmental," she told Syracuse.com | The Post-Standard over the phone.
DiGregorio, an Oswego native who now calls Clay home, made $300,000 a year as porn actress "Nadia Hilton" during her ten-year career. She gave up everything when she met God and her ex-husband David Bassette in 2015. They were both pastors at the Fulton Church until their divorce in 2018.
DiGregorio, 37, recently remarried and has returned to social media to reprise her infamous alter ego. Truly's "Brand New Me" series, which features "amazing true stories celebrating difference, maintaining a sense of wonder and confronting the extreme," featured DiGregorio's story last month. Truly's YouTube channel has 5.8 billion views, and DiGregorio's video has been viewed over 200,000 times on Facebook and YouTube.
Now that I'm a pastor, I just want to be myself," she says in the video.
According to DiGregorio's statement to syracuse.com, she does not appear in any other people's pornographic scenes on OnlyFans. Her fans can message her one-on-one and ask her to wear (or not wear) specific outfits in solo photos or videos, so she still views it as porn.
Most people I've met are courteous and considerate. On that, I don't have a lot of problems, "she said.
OnlyFans has 130 million users and 2 million creators who have earned $5 billion collectively, including many sex workers who joined during the Covid-19 pandemic when strip clubs and brothels closed down in person. When the site announced last month that it would ban sexually explicit content from its app to appease banks and payment processors, it quickly backtracked and said that it would now support "all genres of creators."
The actress said she still attends services but is no longer tied to a company or agency, giving her more freedom in what she does and when she does it. At one point, as a pastor she was forbidden from wearing make-up or having visible tattoos.
"Doing OnlyFans as a Christian, I know I'm going to get a lot of flak," she admits in the real video. "My philosophy on sharing pornographic material is this: God brought me into the world completely undressed. Posting pictures of yourself naked on the internet doesn't seem like such a bad thing, or even a sin.
"I like being in the middle of things. "Not all churches, nor all porn"
As long as it doesn't break up our marriage, I'm down with it," he said. He even helps administer her OnlyFans website for her. Her spouse. Fans who want to keep up with DiGregorio should join onlyfans.com and look up "Nadia Hilton."
DiGregorio used to say that she detested working in the adult film industry, but she later changed her mind and opened an Oswego nightclub called Crystal in her honor. After a few years, the club closed, and she found herself in legal and financial trouble, leading her to declare bankruptcy. In 2014, she was involved in a car accident and suffered a broken nose as a result of her drunk driving.
As a married mother of four, she has come to love herself, flaws and all. She wants other women to follow her lead and accept themselves as well.
I don't judge anybody," she said to syracuse.com. "People have the freedom to live their lives the way they want."
