Outback Wrangler star Chris Willow Wilson, R44 Raven II chopper crashed

A man has been charged with killing an Outback Wrangler star in a helicopter crash.

A man is helping the police with their investigation into the crash of a helicopter that killed a reality TV star.

An investigation into a helicopter crash earlier this year that killed Outback Wrangler star Chris "Willow" Wilson led to the arrest of a man.

On February 28, Mr. Wilson was hanging from a helicopter in Arnhem Land, which is about 500 km east of Darwin. The helicopter crashed in a paperbark swamp along the King River.

Northern Territory Police said on Wednesday that they had arrested a 44-year-old man who is helping them with their investigations.

No crime has been brought up against him.

The body of the 34-year-old TV star was found 40 meters away from the wreckage of the helicopter. The pilot, Sebastian Robinson, was badly hurt.

At the time of the crash, the crocodile wrangler and co-star of a National Geographic show was on a trip to find crocodile eggs.

He was in one of three helicopters that went to Arnhem Land to get crocodile eggs.

A preliminary report from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau said that the three helicopters left Noonamah just after 7 a.m. and flew along the King River for about 90 minutes.

At the time, the 34-year-old was looking for crocodile eggs.

While the other crews took off, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Robinson started collecting eggs near the first staging area.

The TV star was about 30 meters below the R44 Raven II helicopter when it crashed into some trees.

The main rotor blade cut through the trunk of a tree because the sling line attachment rings weren't attached to the helicopter cargo hook.

"At first look, it seemed like the helicopter's engine had stopped before it hit the ground," the report said.
