Katie Hill's case against the City of Los Angeles over throuple nude images is dismissed by a Los Angeles judge.

A Los Angeles judge has dismissed a complaint brought by former California Rep. Katie Hill alleging that she was involved in a "throuple" relationship with a female aide and her then-husband.

Judge Yolanda Orozco ruled on Wednesday that the Daily Mail was covered under the First Amendment when it released the racy snapshots revealing Hill's unconventional lifestyle.

“The photographs (are) of public concern or interest,” Orozco said in her decision. Hill's attorney has said that they plan to appeal.

“We lost in court because a judge, not a jury, determined that revenge pornography is protected free expression. This struggle has enormous consequences for any woman who wishes to run for office in the future, and thus leaving is not an option,” Hill tweeted Wednesday afternoon.

“We're up against a profoundly misogynistic culture that needs to shift, and it won't before we make it.”

Former United States Representative Hill's case against the Daily Mail was dismissed Wednesday, April 7, 2021, by a judge who ruled that the newspaper was covered under the First Amendment when it released nude photographs of her.

Hill has also filed a separate complaint against her ex-husband and the conservative news website RedState, accusing them of distributing the "revenge porn" that contributed to the demise of Hill's once-promising political career in 2019.

Hill, 33, resigned from Congress after admitting to having an improper relationship with a female campaign staffer. She refuted claims that she had an affair with a male congressional staffer, a relationship that would have broken House rules.

The photographs garnered widespread attention in part because Hill admitted to having a three-way romantic relationship with her then-husband.

Hill won her suburban Los Angeles seat during California's 2018 blue wave, which saw Democrats sweep seven Republican-held seats in districts where Hillary Clinton defeated former President Donald Trump.

Following Hill's resignation, Republican Mike Garcia won the seat.
