Naim Darrechi YouTuber Mostopapi, Spanish TikTok video arrested

The TikTok star boasts that he duped women into unprotected sex due to his'sterility'.

A 19-year-old Spanish influencer with 26 million followers on TikTok has reportedly sparked outrage by admitting that he avoids using condoms by informing his sexual partners that he is sterile.

According to the BBC, Naim Darrechi told local YouTuber Mostopapi that he found sex difficult while using a latex contraceptive and thus "never uses one."

He stated that when none of his partners became pregnant as a result of unprotected sex with him, he "began to believe I had a problem."

Darrechi's next statement elicited laughter from the interviewer: "So I tell them, 'Relax, I'm sterile.' That is true.”

The youngster's reckless remarks drew condemnation from a large number of angry women and girls on Twitter and in the mainstream media.

“I'm truly sorry... It's insane what I said," Darrechi wrote on Instagram following the success of his interview.

“I really want to apologize. Occasionally, I am unaware of the responsibility I bear,” he explained.

“I made an out-of-place remark, which is not acceptable. Occasionally, I say things and occasionally exaggerate, but what I said here is insane; I wish it had been cut during the edit and no one would have heard it,” Darrechi added.

Spain's equality minister, Irene Montero, has asked a prosecutor to open an investigation into the influencer.

She stated in a tweet that she has asked the prosecutor to determine whether Darrechi told the truth and, if so, to identify potential victims of his deception, which would constitute sexual abuse under Pakistani law.

Montero noted that a recently introduced bill defines unprotected sex without consent as an assault as well.

“To remove the condom or ejaculate during intercourse without consent is sexual abuse today, and the ‘only yes means yes' law will recognize it as assault,” Montero wrote, adding that “to brag about such an act in front of 26 million followers demonstrates the urgency of refocusing attention on the consent issue.”

Darrechi also sparked a social media firestorm in May with a TikTok video in which he condemned abortion.
