Lance Armstrong's son, Luke, is facing sexual harassment charges.
Lance Armstrong's 21-year-old son is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at a Texas party in 2018.
KVUE announced Wednesday that Luke Armstrong has been charged with sexual harassment of a child following a five-month investigation into the claims.
The now-19-year-old woman, who has not been named publicly, told police in November 2020 that she became inebriated at a party in June 2018 and requested Armstrong's pick-up, who was 18 at the time. Armstrong was on top of her, kissing her when she awoke, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the station.
The victim reported that due to Armstrong's height, she was unable to drive him away and ultimately lost consciousness during the alleged rape.
According to the arrest affidavit, Armstrong revealed during a scheduled call in December that he and the woman had sex at his father's Austin, Texas, home around that time.
According to Armstrong's solicitor, the suspected attack "completely did not occur."
“What happened in high school three years ago was not a crime or a sexual assault,” he said. “It was a romantic relationship at the time and proceeded in a consensual manner between two young adults, who eventually parted ways.”
