According to her manager, a Hollywood actress was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident in New York City.
Lisa Banes, best known for her roles in Gone Girl and Cocktail, was crossing the street in Manhattan's Upper West Side near Lincoln Center on Friday evening when she was struck by either a scooter or a motorcycle, manager David Williams told the Associated Press in an email.
Williams stated that she was receiving treatment at Mount Sinai Morningside for "serious injuries."
“We still have a few days to pray for Lisa,” her wife, Kathryn Kranhold, told the Daily News.
“We ask that anyone with information about the scooter driver contact the police.”
Banes is a television veteran, having appeared on "Royal Pains," "Masters of Sex," "Nashville," and "Them." She is currently in New York City working on a two-woman show at the Manhattan Theatre Club.
According to the NYPD, no arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
