Lily James eventually tackles the controversy surrounding Dominic West's kissing.
Lily James, a British actress, has proclaimed that "there is a lot to tell" about the pictures of her kissing her married co-star, Dominic West.
Lily James has finally spoken out about the pictures of her and married co-star Dominic West kissing, saying that "there is a lot to say."
James, 32, and West, 51, who is married to Irish landscape designer Catherine FitzGerald, made headlines last year after being spotted cuddling in Rome.
The two were pictured canoodling in the Italian capital while filming the miniseries The Pursuit Of Love in England, with an eyewitness telling Page Six at the time, "(He) couldn't resist kissing her neck and stroking her."
When asked about their supposed fling, the British actress told the Guardian, "I'm not very ready to talk about that." “There is plenty to say, but I'm afraid not now.”
Following the drama, West returned to his wife to stage a photo shoot with her outside their house, hugging and displaying a handwritten note assuring her that their marriage was perfect.
“Our marriage is solid, and we are still very much together,” West and FitzGerald wrote in the note. “I appreciate it.”
They maintained their unity a few months later by exchanging a Christmas card from Ireland's Glin Castle, which is owned by FitzGerald's family.
Meanwhile, James canceled all of her scheduled press appearances following the photos' virality, ostensibly to avoid being questioned about her alleged affair with West.
The Rebecca actress appeared to have passed on from West in February, when she was spotted kissing rocker Michael Shuman.
FitzGerald and the Wire alum have been married since 2010 and share four children. West also has a child with ex-girlfriend Polly Astor.
