Lieba Nesis and Claudine De Niro, scary Nesis over Cuba Gooding Jr.

Woman who claims she was 'harassed' by Cuba Gooding Jr.'s girlfriend claims she was'scared.'

The woman whom Claudine De Niro chastised Saturday night at Le Bilboquet for obtaining her boyfriend Cuba Gooding Jr.'s phone number tells us she was "scared" by the incident and is "traumatized."

As previously reported by Page Six, De Niro — who is the ex-wife of Robert De Niro's son Raphael — allegedly caused a scene at the upscale Hamptons restaurant by allegedly yelling at a woman for allegedly grabbing the "Jerry Maguire" actor's digits.

We can now reveal the identity of the woman at the center of the conflict: Lieba Nesis, a Harvard-educated lawyer and author. For at least an hour, she claims, De Niro was "aggressive" and "harassing [and] berating" her.

Nesis, who is well-connected in the Hamptons and New York City social circles, tells us she has known Gooding Jr. for seven or eight years.

Lieba Nesis describes Claudine De Niro (right) as "scary" when she confronted Nesis about Cuba Gooding Jr. providing her with his phone number.

“I'm not feeling well, but we always greet one another,” she explained.

She claims that the Oscar winner informed her at the restaurant that he would be shooting a film in Miami in September and was looking for a place to stay, and she informed him that she owns property in the city that would be vacant during his visit. He entered his digits into her phone in order to follow up, Nesis explains.

However, De Niro witnessed the exchange and lost it.

“'Oh my God, what are you doing?' his girlfriend exclaims. That is my fiance! You are not permitted to take down the number,' she screams, "What the f-ck are you doing!" Nesis informs us. “So I began to explain, and she said, 'You'd better stop. That is my significant other.”

“She continued on and on, and I walked into the other room, thinking, 'Okay, this will settle down.' When I return, she is pointing at me and screaming across the room, 'You had better get out of here!' You'd better get out of here.' Everyone is fixated on me.”

“She wasn't screaming at the top of her lungs,” she continued, “but it was quite intimidating.”

“I was truly terrified,” she stated, “and I am not going to fight. I had not anticipated going out and getting into a fight. I'm spending thousands of dollars each weekend to escape to the Hamptons and avoid negative energy; I'm not interested in drama. I was thinking, I'm not going to engage and hope she calms down on her own, but she didn't."

Nesis claims that she exited the room and sat on a sofa to escape the situation, but De Niro followed her.

“She comes and stands directly on top of me, as if to say, 'You better get out of here,'” Nesis explains, adding that De Niro was "cursing me out."

She claims no one stood up for her except former "Real Housewives of New York" star Jill Zarin, who attempted to convince management to intervene — but no one from the restaurant did.

“The more I attempted to explain [that] I was merely attempting to assist, the angrier she became,” Nesis explains. “She repeatedly stated, 'That is my boyfriend; I am a broker; why was I attempting to steal your business?' I informed her that I am not; I am a Harvard-educated attorney. However, she would become increasingly enraged and out of control.”

Nesis continues, "She was claiming to be a real estate agent and that we were adversaries, but I don't know her." I've never had the pleasure of meeting her. I had no idea she was a realtor, and I am not a broker. I was in disbelief. It had gotten out of hand.”

De Niro worked for real estate company Compass for four months, according to her LinkedIn profile. Previously, she was employed by Prudential Douglas Elliman.

For his part, Gooding Jr. appeared to flee when events took a turn.

“At first, he attempted to explain, and then he vanished,” Nesis explains. “I suppose he realized she was not going to be appeased... He was somewhere, but he was avoiding confrontation.”

Nesis eventually fled the situation after it became clear after an hour that De Niro would not relent.

She expresses concern about another run-in.

“It's a minuscule circle. Bilboquet is one of my favorite places. It's a great deal of fun," she says. “I'm terrified to go there at the moment. I'm afraid to see her. I had been traumatized. I am non-aggressive.”

“It's as if she's dangerous.” As Nesis stated. “I wasn't certain. I had the distinct impression that I was in danger. Nowhere is safe, not even in the Hamptons.”

When we texted De Niro for comment, she responded in all caps, "Jill Zarin and Lieba are full of s–t," before quickly texting a few more things and quickly deleting them from WhatsApp, before adding, "No comment."

According to a source previously quoted by Page Six, De Niro's reaction was not motivated by jealousy over Gooding Jr., but by business. “It is impolite, if you are aware that someone is a broker, to approach their [boyfriend] and offer them assistance with real estate,” they stated.

Additionally, that source insisted De Niro was not yelling — despite the fact that the original source told us she was loud enough to "create a scene."

De Niro and Gooding Jr. have been dating since 2018, according to Page Six.

De Niro was caught on camera in 2019 berating Gooding Jr. at a Miami bar, knocking bottles and glasses off the bar's top before being escorted out by security. Mark Heller, Gooding Jr.'s attorney, stated that she became "a little too playful" while partying with her beau. According to a source, she was enraged when the actor took a friend's side in an argument over something she was upset about, adding that "it was just a silly argument."
