Kodak Black, a rapper, was the victim of an early morning shooting in Florida.
Police in Tallahassee, Florida, are investigating an early morning shooting in which rapper Kodak Black and members of his entourage were allegedly targeted.
The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. Monday at a McDonald's in the city's Tally Strip district, according to WCTV, a local CBS affiliate.
A member of Kodak Black's security team was critically injured in the attack, which occurred following the rapper's appearance at "Cultur3 Fest featuring Kodak Black + Friends" and a subsequent "Official After Party" at Bajas Beachclub.
The shooting occurred approximately two miles from Bajas. It was unclear if Kodak Black and his team were on their way to Bajas Beachclub or had already left.
The Tallahassee Police Department provided no further details about the shooting.
According to the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the rapper's prison term on gun charges was commuted earlier this year, prior to former President Donald Trump's final hours in office.
