APD looks for rapper YFN Lucci in relation to the death shooting
Police are seeking the aid of the public in finding a famous rapper who is wanted for his role in the shooting death of an Atlanta man on several charges.
29-year-old Rayshawn Bennett, also identified as YFN Lucci, is being searched by Atlanta Police.
At about 5:20 p.m. on December 10, officers were dispatched. All were shot on the 900 block of Peeples Street in southwest Atlanta following a male. Upon arrival, 28-year-old James Adams, with a gunshot wound to his head, was found lying on the ground.
Adams was rushed to Grady Hospital, where his wounds caused him to succumb.
Within minutes, a second victim, 32-year-old Kevin Wright, arrived in a private vehicle at a nearby fire station. He seemed to have suffered a bullet wound and survived his injuries afterwards, police said.
During the investigation, the two shootings were described as potentially linked by Atlanta Police Homicide Investigators.
During the commission of a crime, Bennett is accused of felony murder, aggravated assault, involvement in violent street gang activity, and possession of a weapon.
In conjunction with the Fulton County District Attorney's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the persons below have been identified through an exhaustive investigation.
Police also arrested 23-year-old Ra'von Boyd and 17-year-old Leroy Pitts following a lengthy investigation.
