Gladys Berejiklian makes a surprise appearance on the campaign trail.

Gladys Berejiklian has been back on the campaign trail for Scott Morrison's team, even though she sent scathing text messages in which she called the Prime Minister a "horrible, horrible person."

In photos, it looks like Ms Berejiklian has been campaigning with her friend and former colleague Andrew Constance, who is running for the federal seat of Gilmore. The former NSW transport minister is running for the seat.

In this picture, Ms Berejiklian, Maggie Havu, and Liberal MP Mr Constance are all together. Mr Constance was attempting to get the federal seat of Gilmore before the federal poll.

To say thank you, I had a friend who is a true friend of mine come down to say thank you.' Mr. Constance captioned the picture: "Love Glad."

When you look at the picture that is now the former Liberal MP's profile picture, you can see that Mr Constance is smiling with Ms Berejiklian and Maggie Havu.

Leaked text messages allegedly show Ms Berejiklian calling Prime Minister Scott Morrison a "horrible, horrible person" who was more interested in politics than people. Ms Berejiklian came under fire for this.

Mr Constance's supporters said that they admired Ms Berejiklian and that they backed the candidate.

I hope you have a good time with your campaign Andrew. Gladys is happy to see you. We miss having you both in the NSW Government. It said: "Thank you so much Gladys for your time as Premier of New South Wales!!!!"

Wish we could have you and your partner run our state. So many people miss Gladys. 'We knew you were there for us,' said another.

When a leaked text exchange came out earlier this year, it said that Ms Berejiklian called Mr Morrison a "horrible, horrible person" who was "more interested in politics than people."

Mr Morrison was surprised when a Ten News political reporter told him about the messages he said were sent between Ms Berejiklian and a cabinet minister.

Allegedly, she called Prime Minister Scott Morrison a "horrible, horrible person" and said that he was more concerned with politics than people. This caused a lot of people to be angry.

It's also said that she said that she didn't trust Mr. Morrison at all. The cabinet minister is said to have called Mr Morrison a "fraud" and a "complete psycho."

Mr Morrison was said to be 'desperate and jealous' after Ms Berejiklian accused him of spreading 'lies' about her in a text message.

Ms Berejiklian is said to have sent text messages at the height of the Black Summer bushfires in which she said she was'so disappointed and heartbroken' by Mr Morrison's trip to Hawaii.

She said in a statement that she had "no recollection" of the messages and that she still had a lot of faith in Prime Minister Scott Morrison (left).

She also allegedly said that Morrison was "obsessed with petty political point-scoring" while people were in danger because of the fires.

Asked about messages she had not seen, Ms Berejiklian said she had "no recollection of them."

'I know there has been some talk about me and the PM,' she said at the time.

'I can't remember getting any messages like that. The Prime Minister is doing a great job for our country in these very difficult times. I also think he is the best person to lead our country for many years to come.

Following her departure from politics, Ms. Berejiklian has taken a new job at Optus as the company's managing director for "enterprise and business" affairs.

Ms Berejiklian resigned as NSW state premier last October when it emerged she was under investigation by the Independent Commission Against Corruption.

The ICAC announced the probe into whether Ms Berijiklan breached public trust with respect to grants awarded to community organisations while she was in a secret relationship with ex-Wagga Wagga MP Daryl Maguire.

The anti-corruption watchdog issued an update on its website saying 'certain parties' had requested an extension, which was granted. When submissions were due on Monday, they were due by May 9. Now, they can be sent in until May 9.

ICAC investigations usually take a long time to finish, and the commission hasn't said how long it will take to finish its work.

Mr. Constance resigned as the transportation minister of the state of New South Wales just two days after Ms. Berejiklian resigned as the state's leader. As the master of ceremonies at one of his weddings, Ms Berejiklian was a real friend to the MP.

Although his switch to federal politics was no secret, Mr Constance made it clear the exit of his close friend was a contributing factor.

He said: "With Glad leaving, it's kind of like the end of an era."

It was a group of people who went into Parliament together. As I leave Parliament with Gladys, I'm very proud of us.

People in Gilmore hope that Mr. Constance's 17 years of experience and good name will help him reclaim Gilmore from the Labor Party in the next federal election.

Gilmore includes parts of the NSW coasts of the Shoalhaven and Illawarra. It includes Batemans Bay, Kiama, and Ulladulla. It is currently being run by Fiona Phillips, a Labor MP.
