Chadwick Boseman's "Black Panther" star's wife wants to be named trustee of the beloved actor's estate, who died at age 43 in August.

Boseman, who died on Aug. 28 after a four-year struggle with colon cancer, died unwillingly, with an estate valued at $938,500, according to papers filed in the Los Angeles County Trial Court on Thursday.

In court papers, Boseman 's wife, Simone Ledward (referred to by her legal name in the records, Taylor Simone Ledward), requested to be appointed administrator with minimal control over the actor's properties.

Besides Ledward, Boseman is survived by his parents, Belton, S.C.'s Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, both listed in the documents.

Boseman 's relatives, including Ledward, joined him when he died at his Los Angeles home.

According to People, Boseman and Ledward became engaged in 2019 and their last public outing together was at the NBA All-Star Game in Chicago, February.

During a speech at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards, he paid her tribute. "Simone, you're with me every day. I've got to acknowledge you right now. Love you." Ledward kissed him and said, "I love you."

He opened his message by offering his sentiments: "Before sharing my thoughts on the passing of the great Chadwick Boseman, I give my condolences to his family who meant so much to him, particularly to his wife, Simone."

Boseman is best known for Oscar-nominated and box office hit "Black Panther," where he played the title character, but his remarkable credit list also includes starring roles in "42," "Get on Up" and "Marshall." He starred in Spike Lee's "Da Five Bloods" earlier this year.
