Eddie Deezen, the actor from 'Grease,' was arrested at a Maryland restaurant.
You are the one I wish to avoid.
Eddie Deezen, the original "Grease" star, was arrested Thursday in a Maryland restaurant for allegedly going on a rampage, refusing to leave and hurling plates and food at cops, according to a report.
The 64-year-old was escorted out of the LaVale, Maryland, cafe Thursday – handcuffed but without a shirt — for "creating a ruckus" that prompted police response, TMZ reported.
Cops said that Deezen attempted to conceal himself behind a woman sitting in a table when they arrived and repeatedly refused to vacate the building, ending in his forcible removal.
As authorities attempted to apprehend him, Deezen began throwing everything from plates and food to bowls and other objects at them, injuring one of them, the report stated.
According to TMZ, the actor, who played Eugene Felsnic in the 1978 musical "Grease," has been charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and trespassing.
Earlier this year, the actor was embroiled in another incident in a Maryland restaurant, where he was accused of harassing a waitress and posting about his infatuation with her on Facebook.
“Eddie Deezen is a f—ing CREEP who comes into my work at least once a week, calls and asks other servers for my schedule, and if I'm not wearing makeup, he LEAVES,” waitress Kara Lashbaugh said on Twitter in June, alongside screenshots of Deezen's all-caps rants about her. “And this grown-ass old man has the audacity to publish this about me on Facebook?”
According to TMZ, it is unclear whether the two dining events are connected.
