A brutal confession about the franchise is made by Harry Potter star Rupert Grint
Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in Harry Potter, a global sensation, made a harsh confession about his links to the films.
A big part of the Harry Potter series was Rupert Grint, but he has a pretty harsh confession to make about the movies.
Speaking to Variety, the actor admitted in an interview published on Thursday that he had not watched the first three films before.
That could, however, soon change now that he's a father.
The actor who played the lovely Ron Weasley told the publication, "I probably saw the first three of them at the premiere, but I stopped watching them after that."
"But I'll probably have to watch them with her now that I have a daughter," the 32-year-old said.
Probably, it's not the first time the star has admitted that he doesn't watch all the movies.
"Grint spoke to the UK's Radio Times in December 2017: "I think that being in stuff destroys them for me... I can no longer appreciate Harry Potter, not as a fan, it's just not the same.
Grint starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson in the immensely successful Harry Potter films, from the first episode in 2001 to the very last film that came out in 2011.
The most recent of Grint's ventures is his involvement in M. The series of Night Shymalan, Servant, follows a couple whose baby son dies and is replaced with a lifelike doll. Things turn incredibly weird after hiring a nanny.
He opened up to Comicbook.com last month, playing a dad in a new role, about the kind of love he feels now that he can relate properly: "It was something I never really had a lot of idea of, that kind of love." It is a love that is very different,' he explained.
"That's really odd. It has certainly changed my outlook on things somewhat, but also in a helpful way.
In May 2020, Grint welcomed his daughter, who he shares with British girlfriend Georgia Groome, 28, on Wednesday.
Since 2011, the pair have been together and are extremely private.
However, when he entered Instagram in November last year, Grint nearly broke the internet and added a picture of himself cradling his daughter while covering her face.
In just four hours, the photo got over a million likes.
