One person was murdered and two others were injured in separate falls at a Phish concert in San Francisco.
Separate occurrences at the Chase Center in San Francisco during a Phish concert resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two more.
The jam band, which is well-known for its devoted fan base, was performing when the two falls occurred at 9 p.m.
According to investigators, the first victim, an unidentified guy, died at the site shortly after 9 p.m. local time. There is no evidence of wrongdoing.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., witnesses claim seeing a second man fall and collide with another person as he plummeted from an upper level. Both were airlifted to the hospital.
The Chase Center did neither confirm or deny whether the band ceased performing following the man's death, instead requesting that any inquiries be directed to the authorities.
"We send our heartfelt condolences to the guest's family," the venue said in a statement.
Phish has made no statement regarding the occurrences.
