Asian hate crimes at Queens Plaza South near Crescent St. in Long Island City

A gleeful bigot splashes a stranger walking her dog in Queens with a water bottle and refers to her as an anti-Asian slur.

Cops are seeking public assistance in apprehending a laughing bigot who sprayed a stranger walking her dog with a water bottle while using an anti-Asian slur.

According to sources, the 55-year-old Asian victim was out with her pup on Queens Plaza South near Crescent St. in Long Island City when the attacker approached her and splashed her, calling her a "c—-k."

The attacker was caught on surveillance video laughing as she walked away with the water bottle still in her hand, cops said Sunday.

The New York City Police Department's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating, and cops are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and apprehending the assailant.

She is described as being in her early twenties and having an average build with short black hair. She was dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue shirt, gray pants, gray sneakers, and sunglasses.
