Ashley Roland and Nathan Bridges murder and abuse of a corpse
Decomposing body of a 6-year-old boy was discovered under his mother's floorboards.
A 6-year-old boy's decomposing body was found buried under the floor of a corridor in his mother's house.
On Friday, authorities in Arkansas discovered the decomposing remains of a 6-year-old kid who had been molested by his mother. His body had been buried under the hallway floor.
At around 11 p.m., special agents in the hamlet of Moro, located about 70 miles west of Memphis, Tennessee, uncovered the terrible discovery, according to The New York Post.
Initial investigation suggests the youngster died from injuries sustained in the house, potentially three months ago, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.

The child's sibling, aged six, was a resident of the house and was transported to the hospital with burns on her scalp, police said. She has been in stable condition.
As well as murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and endangering the welfare of a minor, Ashley Roland, the children's mother, and Nathan Bridges, their father, have been arrested.
Karen, the children's grandmother, allegedly tried for "almost a year" to gain custody of them, according to a GoFundMe page set up for the family by a family member.
Karen finally got a court order this week to visit the kids on the weekends after months of trying to get one.
Possibly the body of the grandchild was found after a visit by the grandmother.
"She showed up to retrieve her grandchildren... Friday and was told the youngest was at a friend's house and the oldest couldn't walk," Anita Widby wrote.
When Karen saw how quickly the girl's condition was deteriorating, she rushed her to the hospital. Widby said that the child's hair had been shaved off and that she had suffered extensive, yet healing, burns across her body. The girl was so underweight that her ribs were shattered.
Widby speculated that Roland and Bridges were responsible for Bridges' injuries because they were the mother and the mother's lover.
Karen learned out that day that her grandson's body had been discovered.
In the coming weeks, the state medical examiner will identify the cause of the boy's death.
